Landscape Architect
Sam works at the interface between built and living systems to design places which are meaningful, functional and resilient. As both a registered landscape architect and architect, he draws on his interdisciplinary perspective to solve complex design problems across varied scales and contexts. At GR, Sam’s work has focused on academic, institutional, and public projects. An adjunct faculty member and guest reviewer at local universities, he believes in the value of research through design and learning through collaboration.
Sam received a Master of Landscape Architecture with a focus in ecological restoration from the Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University, where his academic work garnered multiple awards including the John Collins Drawing Award and the ASLA Award of Honor. Sam also received a Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education from the Temple Center for the Advancement of Teaching. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University, where he has taught design studios since 2019.
